This is where you can find the templates for the various kinds of equipment you can have made for the roleplay. Keep in mind we are set around the time of ME2 and before ME3 so having any item strictly better than a canon source should not be invented yet. Using most equipment from ME3 is acceptable providing it makes sense. This is not to make your super special mary sue gun. Instead this is here so that we can fill missing roles that haven't been covered by the canon items. It is very important that your creation makes sense within the mass effect universe. To help with this it would be very advised that you do some in depth research on the type of item you are creating, with the mass effect wiki being one of the best sources. Note what is is canon and if you can, use one of those items instead of creating a new one. After all, we do not want to get carried away to the point where everyone has their own unique armor and weapons. The process of creating something may seem a bit overwhelming, so the best strategy may to be to start with a canon item and modify it for your use.
[Keep in mind that largely these numbers mean nothing in roleplay. It is merely to provide a point of comparison to understand the difference in power between weaponry.]
Weapons Template
Name: Typically M-Number Name. Check out the naming conventions of the type of weapon you are creating as there is usually a theme such as shotguns being named after swords. ex M-23 Katana, M-27 Scimitar, M-300 Claymore.
Classification: The weapon type, some even have sub types. Ex Battle Rifle, Marksman Rifle, or Light Machine Gun all within Assault Rifle category.
Manufacturer: Corporation Listing. Each is known for the types of items the produce. If you cannot find one I would always be help select one as it can be a bit overwhealming.
Restriction: Some weapons are produced by contract with the races own military or Cerberus technicians and thus can only be gained by being a member of there organization. Though one could always steal one, but that is no easy task and would need to be explained in history or roleplay. Additionally it could get you arrested if not sold to the public or hunted by the organization as you are essentially wearing a sign saying you killed members of their group. ex Systems Alliance, Turian Hierarchy, Terminus Systems, Blue Suns Private Security Organization, Cerberus, or C-Sec.
Description: Explain what the weapon looks like, the details of how the weapon works, and what makes it unique. Keep in mind when the roleplay is set, these should not be plainly better than the canon weapons and should merely fill a role that none did otherwise. It is a good idea to do some in depth research on the mass effect wiki.
Modifications: An optional area for aftermarket enhancements your character has added that are not standard to the weapon. This section should not be included in the basic template when applying to invent the item, but rather when adding it to your profile. If it is something not from the games it should be applied for separately.
Armor Template
Name: It would be a good idea to look at naming conventions of canon armor pieces.
Classification: Head, Chest, Shoulders, Arms, Legs or Full Armor Suit
Manufacturer: Corporation Listing. Each is known for the types of items the produce.
Restriction: Some armor is produced by contract with the races own military or Cerberus technicians and thus can only be gained by being a member of there organization.
Description: What the armor looks like, how it works, and what makes it unique. Keep in mind when the roleplay is set, these should not be plainly better than the canon vehicles and should merely fill a role that none did otherwise. It is a good idea to do some in depth research on the mass effect wiki.
Modifications: An optional area for aftermarket enhancements your character has added that are not standard to the vehicle. This section should not be included in the basic template when applying to invent the item, but rather when adding it to your profile. Corporation Template

Location: Where the corporations headquarters is located?
Description: Any notable information about the corporation? Their history? What was race did the company originate from? What are they known for doing better than others?
Products: What specific items are they know to make, though only what is relevant to the rp needs to be listed here.
[It's a good idea to do some in depth research on the other corporations to get a feel of what information should be included here as well as to know that your not making something similar to a canon organization.]
