A tough full spectrum warrior and pure combat specialist who is able to deal with any range of physical engagements and purely suited for the front lines of a firefight. Their focus is getting into the thick of the battle, picking the right weapon for tactical situations, and outlasting opponents. No one is more effective at taking down waves of enemies with gunfire, nor are they equipped with the range of weapons the soldier has to get the job done. However it will take more than guns to complete the frequently dangerous tasks the warrior undertakes, it will take a tank of unparalleled survivability for extended fights and the soldier is the only one with the tools to survive nearly any encounter. Their brutal strength allows them to wear the heaviest of armor, experience in taking blows gives them unparalleled damage resistance, and through either the organic benefits of their race or technological achievements of the military allows them the best in health regeneration to keep them in the fight. Additionally they utilize advanced training in several types of ammunition modifications to their weapons which are more effective than those used by anyone else. This includes disruptor ammo for synthetic targets or piercing shields, incendiary ammo to burn organic targets or armor, and cryo ammo to freeze unshielded enemies or even shatter them. This is further supplemented with their supply of grenades to cause havoc to enemy forces and take out large targets. The most unique aspect of the solider is that their years of actual combat experience have endowed them with the ability to fully utilize the rush of adrenaline which triggers within their body during stressful situations. Channeling this chemical to maximum productivity, the world practically seems to slow down around them to afford precious moments in which to gain deadly aim on their targets. While they are masters of combat, this type of advanced specialized training means they do not have the time to focus on any other matter. Their major weaknesses are their complete lack of biotic and tech abilities, forced instead to rely upon allies to pick up the slack in those areas. Given the correct backup for where they lack expertise, the solider is truly a master of all forms of combat and weaponry.

These are the ultimate biotic specialists which are capable of effecting the physical world around them through the raw power of their mind and it's ability to manipulate mass effect fields. While some races may be innately capable of the task, others like humans require exposure to special chemicals and an implant placed into their brain. All of them may however may utilize biotic-amp devices to focus their power to frightening effect. Using these abilities they are able to violently manipulate the environment, including nearby targets in order to disable or kill enemies without firing a shot. However adepts are far less suited as fighters or gunmen, instead they are focused upon controlling the battlefield and the opposition to their advantage. Experienced users are more able to manage the complex thought process to use these abilities, allowing them to use the powers more frequently without intense migraines or extreme exhaustion. Their capabilities include the ability to pull objects into the air even from behind cover, as well as to vigorously push them to make cliffs and ledges lethal opportunities. Their ability to create constantly shifting mass effect fields can shred apart defenses, stop health regeneration, and even detonate an existing biotic ability to create a massive explosion. What makes the adept truly unique however is their ability to launch a dark energy sphere to create an intense mass effect field micro-singularity, which acts as a sort of small gravity well akin to a black hole. Any objects within a radius of this trap are snared and drawn to the center while floating helplessly, completely vulnerable to attack. The adept is not without it's weaknesses. Although biotic abilities are extremely powerful, modern defenses prevent their use and thus the adept must rely upon allies to strip enemies of them. Additionally adepts are not suited to direct combat due to lacking any sort of tech skills, only able to wear light armor for protection, and use advanced training with the meager pistol. Though they rely heavily upon the aid of others, there is no better force for dominating the battlefield than the adept.

These technology specialists are those who have devoted their life to the pursuit of advanced scientific knowledge. In a world where everything from doors to our very bodies is so integrated with computer and machinery, this makes them a deadly force to be reckoned with. Experienced user's are even able to improve their own shield technology and multitasking programs to use their abilities more often without shorting out their devices. Using an arm mounted omni-tool computer, they are able to quickly and easily manipulate nearly any electronic device as well as repair or modify technical equipment. This makes them the most effective at overloading enemy defenses by lowering shields as well as sabotaging weapon technology to lock down the enemy from fighting back. They possess the ability to hack into computers to obtain information, use decryption to bypass security systems, or even take control of enemy synthetics to turn them on their owners. They may also use the fabricator in their omni-tool to deploy hot plasma to incinerate armor and stop enemy regeneration or deploy super-cooled subatomic particles capable of snap freezing targets. What makes the engineers truly unique is their ability to deploy combat drones which harass to draw enemy fire, pull targets out of entrenched cover positions, electroshock to stun and deplete their defenses, or even explode to become a deadly bomb. Additionally the engineers may be medical personnel which excel in using electronic systems to use advanced treatment on the injured, researchers which develop advanced cutting edge technology, or mechanics which specialize in repairing damaged systems. However for all their advance knowledge, the engineer is not equipped for front line combat. They have no advanced combat abilities beyond wearing light armor or pistol training and of course they possess no biotic skills. Though some may be best suited to a position behind a desk, with the proper support from teammates to protect themselves, no enemy will be able to defend against the engineer's expertise in all manner of tech.
