Discuss! Just a fair note, there may be spoilers so read at your own risk.
So far I have to say, I'm enjoying the game. The combat system is awesome and the leveling up system is quite nice. Granted, it's not as awesome as ME1, but it's better than ME2. I hate the new journal system, making me actually have to run around and explore in order to find stuff instead of telling me where I have to go or at least the general vicinity.
So far the story is pretty cool, haven't gotten that far yet. Thoughts on the game people?

Kinda saw the deus ex machina ending coming, Bioware dropped the ball there, kind of a bad way to break down all the hype they built up. Oh well will see how bad it actually is once I play the game.
Though I gotta ask, judged on all of its merits and downfalls: how well do you think it holds up in your opinion.
Gotta ask yourself the question: was it as bad as MvC3 or Dragon Age 2? xD

The game up until the last 5-10 minutes is wonderful! I loved it. I cried, I laughed, I got my heart torn out and then placed back nicely with a kiss. hehee ... then the ending....
Well if I explained why I hated it I think it would spoil the end and I don't want to do that to you hun. I just feel the endings shit on the universe... and discredit everything you have done up until this point... among other things it makes the universe I love so much not exist anymore so... there ya go. Dx...
At least DA2 didn't waste my time with over 100 hours of gameplay just to shit on the last 5 minutes and make it for naught.

Ok, I just finished the game and Amaya...you are right oh God you are so right. EVERYTHING THAT THE GAME WAS, WAS COMPLETELY DISCREDITED BY THE LAST FIVE MINUTES. All that I fought for, all the I did, everything was for absolutely nothing. Every choice is a lose, for you in some facet and just RAGE.
God Bioware dropped the damn ball, they lost their best people and now we get this shit excuse for an ending. We had freaking ninja's running around in a sci fi game and...just...Kai Leng....wtf with him? Seriously, you're going to run around using a katana? Thanks for not breaking a cultural stereotype just so you can try to be bad ass. Sighs, it was stupid, just to try to make a point about creators and the created. -Facepalms so hard-
I hope to God there is some DLC that fixes this or another game. Like maybe everything worked out and the ending was just a hallucination on Shepard's part. (sorry if I spoiled anything.)

Awesome fucking game. Absolute non-sensical-acid-trip-pulled-out-of-your-ass-unsatisfying-nonclosing-crap-ending. I mean seriously. What was that? What, who, when, how? Was this the ending for the yet to be announced A.I. 2 movie? The ending had NOTHING to do with Mass Effect, did not give us any answers to how this affects the galaxy, heck we didn't even truly know what or who made it happen. This ending alone betrayed so many concepts that Mass Effect stood for and actively incorperated in their games. What's the deal with letting the ultimate villain boil down to "We kill you with synthetics so that you won't create synthetics that will eventually kill you and end organic life.". Its kind of a stupid as hell idea since you spent a majority of the game making peace between synthetics and their creators, and you know what, ITS POSSIBLE. Damnit a major focus of the series is devoted to displaying how synthetic life isn't just "WE BAD MACHINE, KILL HUMAN" but rather how even synthetic life is simply trying to survive much like organic life, Legion and EDI show how synthetics can actually co-exist with organics, so why is it that The Reapers (who are meant to save organics from synthetics) are actually the only TRUE (current) threat to organic life... Also Bioware promised that all of our choices we made through out the series would be reflected in the multiple endings. Where are they? We just get 3 endings that are almost practically the same, whilst ditching many concepts (such as free will, tolerance, unity, etc.) and creating a bunch of plotholes. The game was brilliant A+ but that ending was just so... Unfinished and out of place. All who vote in not following this acid trip ending in our RP and are in favor of rewriting it, raise your hands! This article sums up everything that is wrong with the ending, good read. www.gamefront.com/mass-effect-3-ending-hatred-5-reasons-the-fans-are-right/

I totally agree with everyone. I loved the game, didn't even mind the space ninja until he killed my damn love interest :/ had to go back to freaking kaiden after that ... Anyway, not the point.
The endings were a colour change, it was a pathetic ending to an amazing trilogy and so disappointing after such a great game. What got me most was dont whole systems get wiped out when mass relays are destroyed? So the entire galaxy is either stuck in the solar system and therefore doomed, or the relay explosion wiped them out. And someone explain to me why joker seemed to be running away and how my companions who seemingly died in the final push were on the Normandy?
