the following is taken from Simon's app.
-"Two years went by as Arc (Simon's pet name for Arcadia) and he went around the galaxy designing homes for various clients in Citadel space. Then in 2179 Simon went back to work in main Alliance space. Only to find that his name was blacklisted and his former clients (some of whom were once his friends) had cut their ties with Simon completely, Including Simon's own mother who had apparently disowned Simon with no explanation. Upon investigation, He learned of a new anti-alien manifesto with overtones of religious fervor: "Deus Vult"."
-"2180, Almost one year after Simon and Arc became lovers, They were traveling onboard the Citadel 2224; A civilian transit shuttle from the Citadel to Feros when the vessel was suddenly attacked by Cerberus. The attackers then took Simon and Arc to their leader who explained that they were there to kill them both for apparently "Betraying God and his mortal servant" and ransom the other hostages. Before the leader could finish them off, The attackers suddenly turned on the Cerberus leader.
During the ensuing firefight, Simon took a Revenent MG off of one the Cerberus attackers managed to fight them off long enough to reach the escape pods with Arc. A turian ship later found their pod and rescued them. The turians then boarded hijacked shuttle in order to rescue the passengers. The turians had found nothing aboard the vessel except the dead bodys of the remaining passengers, All of whom were found murdered in brutal fashions. the final death toll counted to over 100 dead. Simon and Arc were the only survivors
Simon and Arc were later dropped off on Taetrus by the turians, and according to the turian's report, the attackers were a part Cerberus that had splintered into a faith-based humanity-first extremist group called "Deus Vult" and were lead by the author of the earth-first manifesto of the same name, someone only known as: "The Man of Faith.""
-"Later that year, Simon would receive an anonymous tip from Cerberus regarding both Deus Vult and The Man of Faith. Simon traveled alone to Noveria to confront him for the chaos he caused on the Citadel 2224. Only to come to the stunning revelation that The Man of Faith was actually none other then Simon's own father, Benny Ibori."
-"Benny Ibori was later captured and Deus Vult was effectively shut down."
so this is what i want to happen in simon's loyalty mission(s).
At some point in the RP, Simon is asked by whoever to be present at the executiion of The Man of Faith (who is actually Simon's father, Benny.) however, as simon and the corsairs are approaching the prison where benny is being held on death row. they find that it is under attack by....... whoever; mercs, cerberus, Deus Vult remnents, a prison riot, whatever is most practical.
anyways, in the ensuing chaos, benny escapes and the base/prison in shut down. at a later date, after benny has killed a number of aliens, Simon will track benny down and travel somewhere to kill him.
