Basically you pick a word on the list and build a post from it. It doesn't have to revolve around the word but it has to be a part of your post, its kind of a challenge/creativity test. Its fun though.

My apologies. I tend to assume people know what writing prompts are. Lit teachers fail students when they don't teach them about writing prompts. Dx
