Slayer is the new Vanguard, have a sword-based heavy melee, and has teleporting dodges akin to Asari's. New abilities: Phase Disruptor (Uses up some barrier to fire a biotic beam at an enemy; no cooldown) and Biotic Slash (Empowers a sword with biotics to slash enemies. Basically Kai Leng's Thessia projectile.) www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjswGQMBcOU&feature=relmfuFeatures the N7 Destroyer, Typhoon, and the Firebase Rio map. Destroyer is the new Soldier and has a unique AoE-type heavy melee like the Asari's. New abilities: Multi-Frag Grenade (It's as it sounds, though the Destroyer "shoots" it from a wrist compartment from what I can tell.), Missile Launcher (Basically shoots a projectile with cooldown. Hopefully won't be as powerful as the equipment Missile Launcher.), and Devastator Mode (Not sure what this does, although it gives you a neat Terminator-style display.) www.youtube.com/watch?v=44CVvUaDILw&feature=relatedFeatures the N7 Shadow and Escort Mission. Shadow, the new Infiltrator, has a similar heavy melee to the Slayer, apparently, as well as acrobatic dodges a la Drell. New abilities: Shadow Strike (Works like Kasumi's- you teleport to the enemy's location and smack 'em with your sword. Obviously the new Adept, the Fury has similar dodges to the Slayer, biotic-centric melee that make the Fury teleport after every strike, attacks and a TELEPORTING heavy melee AoE attack. New abilities: Annihilation Field (A new "armor" ability that acts as an aura that damages enemies in close proximity. When activated again it causes a small explosion. So contrary to popular belief, the shield acts as his heavy melee attack- holding it down keeps it out while the normal melee is a mere swipe. New abilities: Snap Freeze (Works like a short range Flamer from what I can tell, but replace the constant stream of fire with guaranteed freezing.) |
