Preorder nearly anywhere and you'll receive the M-55 Argus Assault Rifle, described with the same description I extracted from the script awhile ago as...
"The Argus is a high-powered rifle favored by C-Sec officers. An excellent close range weapon, its burst of fire ensure ammunition conservation during lengthy conflicts. Other law enforcement agencies across the galaxy are adopting the Argus as their standard rifle as much for intimidation factor as it's suppressing power."
If you preorder from origin, in addition you get the A12 Raider Shotgun which wasn't given a description in press releases, but here's the one from the leaked script.
"Carried by the batarian military's notorious Special Intervention Unit, the Raider is a semi-automatic shotgun that fires rapidly at medium range. Rather than eliminating recoil, the Raider's integral compensators make it predictable and vertical. Its adjustable choke allows for effortless switching between tight and broad shot-grouping, making it extremely versatile."
If you preorder from gamestop, you get the Argus of course, in addition to the N7 Valkyrie assault rifle which the script describes as..
"High-powered upgrade of the Avenger rifle. Excellent accuracy and rate of damage.
After the carnage of the Battle of the Citadel, Alliance officers commissioned an upgraded rifle for their ground forces. Improving on the popular Avenger design, the Valkyrie is now standard issue for new recruits. Exceptionally well-crafted, accurate, and packing ample firepower, the rifle is a hot black-market item on the rare occasion it surfaces."
You also get the N7 warfare gear which enhances your health, shields, weapon damage, and ammo capacity.

Additionally go grab the Kingdoms of Amalur demo now! For playing through it you can grab both of these sexy items for mass effect! The Reckoner knight armor which improves melee and weapon damage. It was designed by Todd Mcfarlane, the creator of spawn. Not really my cup of tea, but I know some will love it. Also the weapon is the chakram launcher which fires explosive disks.
You will also unlock some special items for the main Kingdoms of Amalur game if you enjoy it. Playing the mass effect demo will earn you some more items for it such as dual omni-daggers and N7 knight armor. You can see pictures and read more here.
