Character's Full Name

Dossier: Your Title Here
- Primary skill
- Secondary skill
Brief background with information on their current location and status. This should emulate those from the video game and thus it should be kept very short. This is essentially the file the alliance has on you. For more on how to properly make this go here.
Name: Your characters full name. This should emulate the naming conventions of your species.
Alias: Any other names they are known by?
Species: Here is the mass effect wiki's page on the subject until we have our own posted.
Gender: Male or Female? If your race does not have both, what do they more identify as?
Sexual Orientation:
Age:
Height:
Weight:
Origin: Spacer, Planet-born, or Colonist?
Morality: Your percentage of Renegade or Paragon. (80% Paragon/20% Renegade etc.) More information can be found in the second post of this thread.
Affiliation: Who are you affiliated with? Cerberus? The Alliance? Salarian Special Task Group? Blue Suns?
Residence: Your past places of living as well as where you currently reside.
Occupation: Your past professions as well as your position aboard your current vessel.
Discipline: Combat/Biotic/Tech, Choose a sole area to focus in or you may choose two, selecting a primary and a secondary focus. If you have chosen two write your primary then a / and then your secondary, ex Combat/Biotic. Those who focus in a singular area have access to particular abilities others cannot use and tend to be more experienced in that field than others who split their training. Meanwhile if you choose two, your primary will allow you access to certain abilities that you cannot have if it were your secondary.
Specialization: Specialization Guide This is essentially your class and a very short description of what it comprises. It may be something as simple as soldier, engineer, vanguard, infiltrator, ect. or you may use some from the game found in the guide as an example. You may make up your own as well, mimicking the style of those found in the guide. Consider this is not something personal or unique to your character, it is essentially their job position and what factors it makes you excel at. Someone else may like it and also want to use it in the future.
Abilities: Combat / Biotic / Tech
Choose 7 abilities total. If you have chosen two disciplines, choose 4 from your major and 3 from your minor. Some abilities may only be chosen if it is your sole or primary discipline. Those overwhelmed by the choices could consult the Sample Class Intel to see a few simple builds.
Distinguishing Features: (Appearance) This should include the basics of hair color, eye color, body type, notable scars or tattoos as well as clothing, etc.
Psychological Profile: (Personality) This should include what makes your character tick, your character's strengths or weaknesses, personality flaws and how you would react to other species within the Mass Effect universe, etc.
Preferred Equipment: The template for various items can be found here. If it is not an item found in the games please apply for it separately in the tech lab board to streamline the application process. How detailed you get with what your character is carrying is largely up to you.
Please understand that your equipment should reflect our personality and profession. Your average individual is not going to have spent an extremely large amount of money and time acquiring the best kinds of weapons and armor. Even if you do most people wouldn't put a ton of modifications on their stuff in order to make sure it's extremely powerful. Furthermore understand that most of us should not start with valuable items, rather just like the game we should acquire it over the course of missions and roleplay. Rather than starting with that crazy gun, why not pick it up off a mercenary that you had a fight with on tuchanka? Rather than start with that expensive modification, how about picking it up at the store while we are on a mission to the citadel? All I'm asking is that you keep in mind that giving yourself a huge arsenal right off the bat actually limits your character and roleplaying potential.
Background: This is your character's entire personal history and should be at minimum four decent paragraphs. Anything that will come up in roleplay or was a significant event in your characters life and influence upon them should be included.
RP Sample: All that is required here is a short example of your writing, it could even be the first post you plan on using for your character. Anything strenuously prepared or overly elaborate will be pointless and apparent that it is not a representation of your average post once you start roleplaying.
Future Plans: Any personal plans or events that you want to see happen to your character that perhaps the plot could incorporate?
Face Claim and/or Voice Actor Claim: This is optional but if you do use it make sure your face and voice aren't already taken.
